Our key contributions to this project include (This work is being carried out as subcontractors under Technopath):

The website is a large-scale e-commerce platform built on Magento, a robust, enterprise-level solution ideal for complex catalogues and international operations. This choice of platform enables the site’s multilingual and multi-store architecture. The development utilises key web technologies, including PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, to handle server-side logic, front-end interactivity, and styling. The site’s customisation relies heavily on the capabilities of the Magento ecosystem, including custom modules and theme modifications.

  • Menu Design and Responsiveness: A key contribution was the development and customisation of the main navigation menu. This included implementing a complex, responsive menu design that provides a seamless user experience on all devices, from large desktop screens to mobile phones.
  • WeltPixel Theme Customisation: The entire website was customised based on a WeltPixel theme. This extensive work involved modifying layouts, colours, and components across all pages—including the homepage, category pages, and product detail pages—to align with Cambro’s brand identity and functional requirements.
  • “Designed to Work Together” Section: A custom section was developed for the product pages, titled “Designed to Work Together.” This feature enhances the user’s shopping experience by dynamically displaying complementary or related products, enabling B2B customers to build complete solutions easily.
  • Customised “Add Accessories” Section: A dedicated section was created on the product page to handle accessories. This customisation streamlined the cross-selling process, allowing users to quickly and efficiently add all necessary components to their cart.
  • Multi-Store and Multi-Language Configuration: A significant part of the work involved configuring the website for a multi-store, multi-language setup. This enabled the German, Italian, and Austrian versions of the site, involving extensive customisation of the minicart, language translation, and checkout processes to provide a localised and efficient user journey for international customers.
